The city is launching on update to the Downtown Parking Management Plan (last updated in 2022). This data driven strategy seeks to balance current parking demands with future development. To do so, the current parking inventory will be updated, parking demand will be evaluated on various days and times, and community conversations will be held with the downtown community and visitors.

Parking Meeting #2 Scheduled 9/21
The community is invited to create guiding principles for Milwaukie's Downtown Parking Management Strategy. The principles will be used in concert with the study findings to select parking strategies that meet the community's expressed priorities and documented needs.
The meeting will be held in the Dogwood Community Room at City Hall (10501 SE Main St) from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on September 21. While the meeting is primarily an in-person discussion, there is a virtual join option for those who can't make it but wish to tune in.

The community is invited to learn about the upcoming parking management strategy project at a kickoff meeting on Monday, Aug. 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This is a chance to learn more about the project, provide feedback, meet the project team and ask questions.
The evening begins with an introduction by city staff, followed by a presentation from the consultant assisting with the project, and concludes with a question and answer session. Light refreshments are provided.
