Our beloved Milwaukie mascot, Millie, is looking for a new friend and they want your help! Millie loves meeting pets of all shapes and sizes, and now it’s your chance to help Millie find the best pet friend in Milwaukie.
Here’s how it works (Please review the Contest Guidelines before nominating your pet so that you have all of the details.):
Nominate Your Pet Do you have a furry, feathered, or scaly friend who would make the perfect companion for Millie? Submit a photo and a short description below explaining how your pet represents the best of Milwaukie and should be Millie’s new pal. All pets are welcome! Please include the following in your submission:
Your pet's name (Added to the title of the nomination)
Any unique tricks, traits, or special characteristics; and
Things you and your pet do or places you visit around Milwaukie.
Vote for Your Favorites As submissions come in, the community gets to vote by liking their favorites. Every like helps decide which pet will win the coveted title of Millie’s Pet Pal.
The Winner is Announced The winning pet will be officially announced at a future City Council meeting, a true honor for Milwaukie’s most beloved pet! Hopefully Millie's friendship with the winner blossoms into something special!
