Balfour Park

Community engagement has concluded for this project. Thanks to everyone who participated! Here is a summary of the community engagement for all three park development projects (Balfour, Bowman-Brae, and Scott Park) along with the final site plan for Balfour Park.


The city invites you to participate in the refinement of the 2015 Balfour Park Master Plan!

Balfour Park is a 0.8-acre undeveloped neighborhood park site located in the Ardenwald-Johnson Creek neighborhood at 3103 SE Balfour St. The city purchased the land in 2008 with funds from Metro’s 2006 voter-approved natural areas bond measure. The park property features unique topography and a mature tree canopy, and offers the potential for both passive and active recreation.

Be sure to also participate in two other park development projects! Balfour Park isn't the only new park that the city is currently working to develop. The city received more than $2.25 million to complete the development of three neighborhood parks (Balfour, Bowman-Brae, and Scott). Balfour Park es un parque vecinal de 0.8 acres sin desarrollar situado en el vecindario de Ardenwald-Johnson Creek en 3103 SE Balfour St. La ciudad compró el terreno en 2008 con fondos procedentes de la medida de bonos para áreas naturales aprobada por los votantes de Metro en 2006.
