Have you noticed new types of housing popping up around Milwaukie - smaller homes clustered together on a single lot where you might be used to seeing just one house? Curious about what this housing is, where it’s allowed, and how the city regulates it?

On Monday, July 28, 2025 City Council and staff hosted an educational town hall at City Hall to share information about how we got to the middle housing policies of today and what the development process for middle housing looks like.
