City Council discussion on Climate Fund (Meeting #2)

Staff gave a presentation on the changes to the climate fund structure based on Council feedback from July 19, 2022. Key changes include tailoring the fee structure to represent emissions by customer type, adjusting fees for multifamily and single family residential customers, and providing more context on potential program funding opportunities.

City Council will be discussing the Climate Fund and potential adoption of the climate fund ordinance at the 11/15 Regular Session. Participate by watching the City Council meeting, submitting testimony in person or via zoom at the meeting, or submitting testimony before the meeting by emailing OCR@milwaukieoregon.gov or sending a physical copy to Milwaukie City Hall at 10722 SE Main St, Milwaukie, OR 97222.
